John Deere LA130 Riding Lawnmower Start Up, Engine and Full Tour
Lol first of all, I have never done anything like this at all but I thought this would be fun to make and I kinda always wanted to do it. I’m sure everyone who watches my channel will be like what the heck?! haha But this is my Dad’s John Deere LA130 Riding Lawnmower which had been sitting for about 3 months now. I give a full tour and start up of it and show some of the details. I also drive it around the yard. I know a lot of people like these videos and I had a couple of requests so I made this real quick. At the end I also start up the 1999 Lexus RX300 and give a preview of a 2003 Lexus GX470 that we got at the lot which I have a full start up and tour coming as well as a driving video. 1982 Craftsman LTV/10 lawn tractor with no compression
I couldn’t remember what was wrong with this Craftsman LTV/10 lawn tractor, so I figured I would see if I could get it to start, but quickly found out it’s 10HP Briggs & Stratton engine had no compression. Just listen to it! I don’t need a gauge to tell me it has no compression when it sounds like that! It was about then I remembered where it came from. We bought it for at a swap meet a few years ago, drove it about 150 feet, and it abrubtly died. The motor is fixed now, it ended up being a burnt valve.

Noma All-Wheel-Steer Lawn Tractor, 18HP Kohler V-Twin
This is the first drive of a Murray or MTD built Noma Performance All-Wheel-Steer tractor with an 18HP V-Twin Kohler Command engine. We bought it for 0 last Sunday, and had just unloaded it from the truck to take a look at it. It appears to have been sitting a long time, but fortunately someone ran the gas out of it, so the carb wasn’t damaged. The engine runs super smooth and quiet too. It’s a shame the tractor itself is such a mess; the choke knob is broken off, there’s no brakes, reverse doesn’t work, and the steering gear is messed up which is why I had to keep getting off and fixing it. The scraping sound is the belt on the deck, which is also messed up. I’m kicking myself because just a few weeks ago someone nearby had 2 Scotts branded parts tractors up for sale on eBay, and they were identical to this Noma.
John Deere 316 Lawn Tractor, Part 2
This is a used John Deere 316 tractor. It is in very good condition. Engine is very powerful, 16 hp. Has NEVER broken down. Always stored inside. No hourmeter, but probably 600 hours. Runs great. Regular maintenance always performed. Tiires in good condition; one has been plugged, other 3 are good. Hydrostatic transmission, no gears to shift. Has hydraulic deck lift, just pull a lever and it goes up. Also has front auxiliary hydraulics on front, for snowblower, blade, etc. (accessories not included). Belts are okay. Seat cover is rip free. Has bright headlights. It has electric start, just turn the key. It has a trailer hitch, for pulling trailers. It also has a 2 bag bagger, works great. PTO is electric, just flip a switch to turn it on. Used this mower once a week at old house to mow 2 acres. Now we have 6 acres, and it is no longer sufficient for our needs.
