Craftsman And John Deere Lawn Tractor Part 1
A video of my old Craftsman Lawn Tractor which is on its last legs, I got it 3 years ago and have spent lots on it. I recently got a new John Deere Mower, she’s a beauty. WATCH IN HIGH QUALITY(HQ) AND PART 2!
The only reason why ur L120 lasted a year is because JD L series tractors are shit. I had a john deere 318 lasted me about 17 years. Then got a 335 lasted me about 15 years and now i gotta a john deere x360 that will probaby last me 20 yeears cuz that thing is built solid.
it was maintained regulary oil change when supossed to but the craftsman has not been still runnin on the oil it had in it when it left the factory in 05 just never got around to changing it both have briggs motors on them but the deere has the junk vtwin 20hp on it and the craftmen has the single cylinder on it 18.5hp nothing against john deere i have several older ones and they run good i have a 316 a 110 and 112 and a couple others
SOrry but I wont agree with that, This craftsman you see in this video is done, it only last 12 years. Your john deere must not of been taken care of, as long as you maintain your machine, it is likely to last 12 or more years.
sad thing is with john deeres quality today that machine won’t last u 12 years like craftsman i have a L120 with just over 100 hrs on it and the motor is shot i got a craftsman lt2000 same year as the deer and it is still going strong and it mowed the same amount of grass the deere did
Well it all depends on the job as you probably know, if you wanna haul dirt or plow snow you should get a higher end model
i think the X585/X720 arte too big i like the LA100 series they are good littel tractors
I would definitely get at least the X320, they are much tougher, or you can look around a little and get an older 318 or something like that. They are even tougher than the new jds.
I was actually looking to buy a higher end 100 series. Like maybe an LA165. But, I have about 3 acres to cut, and I am now looking at the 300 select series. Nothing more than an X320 with the 48in deck. How big is this mowing deck?
as long as it is easy to replace
You don’t need an entire starter. You can buy that cap assembly for the end of the starter for about $15 at a place that sells Briggs parts.
